About...
I have been drawing and painting most of my life, but I don't think I felt like an artist until I had children. Those new sets of eyes and ideas have and continue to bring me the most inspiration. I am drawn to mythologies both old and new and the deconstruction of the things we hold most sacred. The idea of all things being connected fascinates me.
My work in the past has been mostly of a graphic art style. I have moved more into painting recently and evolving my ideas more thoroughly. I like to put things together that have the appearance of being random but in the end come together and make something new. Creativity happens when a dog smiles and a snake eats its tail.
