I have been sewing most of my life and fell in love with quilting when I was pregnant with our daughter. I have been officially calling myself a "quilter" since 2001. Most of my inspiration comes from nature and mythologies of all sorts and by the openness of my children and the lessons I learn through them. All my quilts are original and are designed by my husband, Jason Hubbard, and I.
I have had my quilts hang in various quilt shows, at the Athens Lyndon House Art Gallery, and I have had a show with Sarah Cook at the Robert Lowery Gallery. Recently, I won Best in Show at the Cotton Patch Quilters Guild show "Inspirations of Our Lives" as well as 1st and 2nd place in the art quilt category, 1st place in the contemporary quilts category, and1st place in the juvenile quilts category. I also have a quilt published in a quilting book as well as in calendar for 2008.
